This is a bulls-eye rash which can appear any time after the initial bite to a few months down the line. This rash is indicative of Lyme Disease...you get the rash you have 100% got the disease!
Ticks come in various sizes. It all depends how much blood they've had to drink that day. The tiny ones are usually the most hungry, they're the fastest moving and they're usually the ones responsible for infection.
Remember ticks can be very small. This is an embedded ‘nymph’ tick next to a fine pencil of a UK patient.
